What makes you passionate about working in childcare? Childhood is a time to have fun. Children are full of natural curiosity and wonder and I love that we get to foster that learning and help create happy little learners.
I am passionate about mental health and wellbeing. I'm so grateful that I get to be a happy and supportive figure for so many children, seeing each individual child progress in their learning and develop into happy confident children makes my whole day.
What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? Everyday at work is memorable for me, for many different reasons. The beauty of our role, apart from being able to spend the whole day with wonderful children and educators, is that no two days are the same! The learning that occurs within our centre is lead by the children, so one day we can be learning about bugs and then next about emotions. Our days are filled with learning and laughter, what could be better than that?!
Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? ELC Baulkham Hills is a beautiful little homely centre located in a quiet street full of trees and nature. Our centre is filled with long standing, well trained, passionate educators and a lovely community of children and families. We pride ourselves on being connected with our families and having strong relationships that benefit the childrens learning.
We are all here to have fun and learn along the way! Our program is child lead and play based, which means the curriculum is developed around your child’s interests and learning needs and teaching occurs during play! So the children are immersed in play and the natural environment rather than sitting in front of a teacher for an extended period of time.
Our yearly Calendar is full of fun days and events and provides opportunities for family involvement and participation, we believe in strong family partnerships to ensure your child reaches their full learning potential.
We look forward to meeting your and sharing in your child’s learning journey.
